WHY FAMILIES CHOOSE US
A therapy session shouldn't feel like a doctor's appointment.
When children are engaged, therapy can become more meaningful and effective. Here is what working with Desert Cloud Therapy looks like for your family.
Therapy kids enjoy
No white coat anxiety. Whether sessions incorporate the movement of a horse, take place in your home, or happen in familiar settings such as daycare, therapy can feel less clinical and more natural for your child.
Progress Through Purposeful Movement
Hippotherapy uses the movement of the horse to challenge core strength, balance, coordination, and crossing midline in ways that are hard to replicate on a clinic floor.
Care from a licensed expert
Anna Sullivan, MOT, OTR/L, holds a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Utah and Level II American Hippotherapy Association training.
WE UNDERSTAND
You've been to enough waiting rooms. You know your child deserves more.
Therapy appointments shouldn't leave your child shut down before the session even begins. You have watched them resist clinic walls, dread the drive, and lose ground because the setting works against them instead of with them.
You want progress. You want your child to feel capable, calm, and proud of what they can do. And you want a therapist who sees your child as a whole person, not a checklist of goals.
That is exactly the kind of care Desert Cloud Therapy was built to provide.

MEET ANNA
A lifelong vision, brought home, to Southern Utah.
Anna Cieslewicz Sullivan first read about people gaining new abilities through horses in a Saddle Club book in elementary school. The idea stayed with her. At eighteen, after learning that equine movement could be incorporated into occupational therapy, she set a goal: one day, she would open a practice like this in St. George.
After earning her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Utah in 2013, Anna worked in schools, outpatient clinics, and most formatively, a pediatric therapy clinic in North Carolina where she provided OT at a stable. Time and again she saw children make breakthroughs on horseback that simply were not happening on a clinic floor.
Desert Cloud Therapy is the practice she imagined more than a decade ago, finally serving the families in and near St. George.
